Nolan Miller Obituary, Death – Our dearly loved father, Nolan Miller, passed away recently, and it is with a sad heart that we share this news with you. Miller, who was born in Woodlawn on December 13, 1926, passed away in a calm and serene manner on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at the age of 95, at the Southwest Louisiana Veterans Home in Jennings. His parents, Claude C. Miller and Theresa (Hebert) Miller, had passed away previously.
Nolan’s journey started in Woodlawn, and throughout his entire life, he exemplified a sense of perseverance and drive towards achieving his goals. Having graduated with honour from Lacassine High School, he took with him the principles that were inculcated in him by his childhood, which helped him develop a profound sense of dedication and commitment.
As a father who was completely devoted to his family, Nolan’s love and concern were limitless. His generosity and unflinching support served as the cornerstone upon which our family flourished. We are left with an irreparable gap in our lives as a result of his departure; but, we find comfort in the innumerable memories that he brought into our lives.
In addition to his commitment to his family, Nolan proudly served his country with honour, which exemplified his selfless personality and his dedication to his duties. His bravery and patriotism are demonstrated by the fact that he went to great lengths to serve his country.
As we go through this period of terrible loss, we recall Nolan as a rock of support and a source of direction. He left an indelible mark on our hearts with his unflinching love, unflinching wisdom, and unflinching resilience.
We are keeping everyone who was impacted by Nolan’s life in our thoughts and prayers, particularly his family, friends, and those who were a part of his journey.
