If you think your dog is pretty fugly, or that your cat looks creepy at a certain angle, then that’s nothing compared to these pets.

On Tuesday night ITV brought us a special episode of The World’s Ugliest Pets, highlighting a host of animals that have won awards for their not-so-adorable looks.

However, the show proved a heart-touching journey, with owners showing that it’s the personality of a pet that makes them special and not their looks.

Twitter backed up every creature no matter what shape or size, so here’s the god-damn hideous cast of The World’s Ugliest Pets.

Rhea The Lovebird

Our first pet is loveable lovebird Rhea, who lost her plumage to disease.

Despite this, Rhea has a huge social media following, with owner Isabella Eisenmann setting up a sick Instagram account for her pet.

This teeny-tiny bird has 435k followers!

Chinese Crested Chase

Animal-loving actress Caroline Quentin welcomed Chase onto the show, a seven-year-old Chinese crested dog.

Chase came third in last year’s world ugliest dog competition and it wasn’t just Welsh owner Storm Shayler who was proud of Chase repping the Welsh nation.

Martha The Neapolitan Mastiff

Botox.

If Martha the Neopolitan mastiff was in Hollywood, then there’s no doubt that by the age of about two weeks, she would have been urged to have a little botox work.

But, that’s not to stop Twitter loving her giant sloppy chops, with hidden beauty tucked far, far beyond her countless layers of skin.

Chinese Crested Mugly

The second Chinese crested doggo of the night, beautifully named Mugly claimed the World’s Ugliest Dog crown in 2012 and is still the only U.K winner.

Big up, Mugly!
